Multi National Market Leaders are seeking a dynamic and energetic Junior Procurement Officer to join the Team at their Cape Town Branch. Duties and responsibilities include but not limited:-
- Working to the Company’s Standard Operational Procedures
- Plan, Prioritise and process Procurement actives
- Request quotations and process Purchase Orders from Suppliers – Telephonically or emailed
- Provide Sales Staff with product and Service information and support
- Monitor Zero, Low and Non Stock Items for Pricing and Buying when necessary for Sales Orders and Stock Levels
- Liaise with and support other Departments regarding all Procurement related queries
- Identify, research and resolve Suppler Issues
- Follow Up on outstanding Orders
- Keep proper record of all pricing requests and feedback
- Manage Procurement and Pricing within Company margins
- Identify and resove Supplier Issues
- Grade 12
- Two to Three years Procurement experience essential
- Computer experience essential
- Excellent communication skills in English - both written and verbal – Afrikaans highly advantageous
- Good interpersonal skills – Team Player
