Our client, based in Indonesia, is looking for an energetic and dynamic Junior Production Manager to join their team. The incumbent must be able to work independently, shows initiative, and has a willingness to learn.

The successful candidate will be assigned to work in their Palm Oil Estates Operations Department. Initially the incumbent will be responsible for approximately 500ha with 50-150 workers, and will become responsible for more hectares with time.

Responsibilities will include: *Overseeing daily field operations activities: planting, harvesting, crop care & road maintenance *Coordinating efficient transportation of harvested fruit from estate to mills *Analysing field productivity data to identify areas for performance improvement (for daily activities and process improvement initiatives) *Mentoring and upskilling of field workers *All other tasks related to the role.

Essential qualifications, skills and experience:
• Diploma or Degree in Agriculture/Forestry;
• Minimum 3 years’ relevant experience in agriculture or field-based operations (including supervisory experience);
• Excellent computer literacy;
• Must be willing to live and work in a remote area, and comfortable working in a multicultural environment.
