Our client, operating in the fruit industry with their head office based in Somerset West, currently has the above position available for a motivated and detail-oriented team player with excellent accounting knowledge, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to work accurately under pressure.

The successful candidate will be responsible for (but not limited to): *Invoicing containers *Bank reconciliations and allocating transactions *Loading payments and requesting transfers *Processing and reconciling invoices *Preparing monthly payment schedules *Assisting with compilation of producer reports *Assisting with the preparation of annual income statements *Managing VAT reconciliations, submissions and queries *Ordering and tracking packaging materials *Assisting with audit preparation *Maintaining the fixed asset register *All other financial functions related to the position.

Essential qualifications, skills and experience:
• BCom Accounting degree or similar qualification, with completed SAIPA or SAICA articles;
• 0-3 years’ post-article experience;
• Excellent computer skills (specifically MS Excel and Pastel);
• Fully bilingual (Afrikaans and English);
• Own reliable transport.
