Description:
Hire Resolve's Client is currently looking for an experienced Geologist to join their mining company based the Northern Cape. You will be responsible for providing geological support through exploration, resource evaluation, grade control and geological data management to support safe and efficient mining operations.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct geological mapping, sampling and data collection activities to support exploration and mining operations.
• Monitor and maintain geological databases, models and reporting systems.
• Ensure compliance with QAQC standards and geological best practices.
• Interpret geological data and provide technical recommendations to support operational and resource planning decisions.
• Support exploration, resource evaluation and mine planning activities.
• Prepare geological reports, presentations and technical documentation.
• Monitor ore quality and assist with grade control and reconciliation processes.
• Utilise geological software and data analysis tools to support geological modelling and reporting.
• Collaborate with operational and technical teams to optimise resource extraction and quality management.

Requirements:

• Grade 12
• BSc Hons Degree in Geology or Equivalent
• 5–8 years' experience in geology, exploration and quality management within a mining environment
• Experience in exploration, geological mapping, sampling and resource evaluation
• Knowledge of QAQC principles, geological modelling and grade control practices
• Proficiency in geological software (SURPAC) and Microsoft Office applications
• Valid Driver's License

• Salary: R800K - R1.1mil P/A
