This role is responsible for supporting the operations of allocated commercial stores by ensuring product availability, maintaining store standards, and driving sales growth in line with operational targets. The position involves evaluating customer service levels, implementing strategic initiatives, monitoring stock levels, and ensuring all products are correctly ordered, displayed, and maintained within stores.

Key Responsibilities

Assisting in the Operation of Allocated Commercial Stores

• Evaluate and promote improved customer service where required
• Control and monitor store fixtures
• Monitor monthly sales and growth in line with operational targets
• Implement strategic initiatives as required by management
• Ensure all listed products are ordered and correctly displayed in stores
• Manage ordering and follow-up of seasonal and everyday stock
• Evaluate and analyse monthly store sales and growth performance
• Implement store disciplines according to operational standards
• Adhere to and implement all operational procedures and requirements

Liaising with Internal and External Customers

• Ensure general correspondence is handled according to management requirements
• Assist with annual stock takes when required
• Address complaints and resolve operational issues within stores
• Report operational concerns and correspondence matters to management

Managing Merchandisers

• Coach, plan, assign, and direct merchandiser duties in conjunction with management
• Address complaints and resolve staff-related issues where required
• Ensure staff comply with all operational procedures and requirements
• Perform additional duties as required from time to time
