Management of Financial Performance
Management and review of all tasks related to the financial performance of the company Africa Group.
Provide guidance and input for interpretation of Group’s Financial results. (Monthly, Quarterly, and annually)
Develop and Maintain currency hedging Strategies. Manage risk on forward cover in line with Policy.
Monitor Treasury and review adequacy of cash flow and predicting future trends.
Review and evaluations of cost-reductions opportunities.
Manage and provide guidance for preparation of annual budgets.
Manage and supervise audits of all group companies.
Review of monthly management reports.
Compliance
Ensure all financial reporting deadlines are met.
Ensure compliance with all Audit requirements and be the lead in maintaining relationships with the Group’s auditors.
Ensure accurate and appropriate recording and analysis of revenues and expenses.
Ensure compliance with all aspects of Taxation (Vat, WHT,Company Tax Duties).
Management and review of R&D incentives and efficient group tax structure.
Management of transfer pricing policies.
Supervisory
Manage, train, assist, mentor and develop all Financial staff.
Financial advice and support to clients and colleagues to enable them to make sound business decisions.
Liaise with customer and suppliers and resolve any Issues or problems that may arise.
Develop and maintain all Internal controls are functioning as designed.
Provide guidance for the reviews and changes, to ensure efficient and proper controls are in place in all entities.
Management of Group insurance policies, declarations, and risks.
Attend to general commercial, business requirements.
Commercial
Ensure Financial Records are in compliance to IFRS and meet Group Accounting Policy requirements and ensure Accuracy and Integrity of Financial records.
Income statement movement reviews and analyses on specific accounts as required.
Ensure Accounts payable/receivables are managed in accordance with Company policy.
Perform reviews over Treasury management and ensure all Risks are adequately managed.
Ensure adequate credit control is exercised in compliance to Policy.
Ensure Group Companies comply to Companies Act in registered jurisdictions
Any other reasonable duties that may be requested by Executive Management

Candidate Requirements
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTBCom: Accounting / Finance or Similar
Member of SAICA Chartered Accountant/ CIMA or ACA equivalent.
10 years’ experience in management role
Excellent MS office computer skills.
knowledge and experience of Syspro
