Reporting to Manager: Marketing & Communications
About the Role:
To execute integrated communications, digital and branding initiatives that increase brand awareness and visibility of the company in the local and global market. Thereby ensuring a consistent brand voice across channels and optimize campaigns through data-driven measurement in support of the 50% growth strategy
Key Performance Areas:
Event Management:
To ensure that all company events are executed effectively according to the agreed plan and budget (Project Pack). This includes but is not limited to:
Sourcing suppliers (together with Procurement and aligned with Policy)
Coordinating event logistics
Collaborate with sponsors for events
Coordinating other marketing collateral
Monitoring progress against plan
With the support of the Commercial Team & Executives, identify and compile a database to ensure that the right people at the right level attend the events to enhance brand awareness and increase business opportunities within the industry.
To effectively execute targeted marketing events and well-planned initiatives to ensure that it constantly builds the positive and professional reputation of the company to support the achievement of the strategic objectives
Internal Communication:
To create all internal communication for the company according to the social calendar, ensuring overall consistency, relevance, accuracy, and timely delivery.
To ensure that all content created and used internally, meet the company's set guidelines and/or required standards, to maintain the reputation, strength the brand and builds unity in the company's culture.
To coordinate and compile appropriate and exciting information for the company's Newsletter on a quarterly basis, to keep the business informed and up to date with industry trends and business success.
Publish internal communications through digital channels track open/engagement metrics and iterate content for higher engagement

To execute the marketing collateral initiatives by providing relevant content and obtaining quality products that support the company's image and reputation in the industry.
Brand Management:
To execute the corporate-identity for the company by ensuring that all internal communication and events adhere to the set corporate identify policies and procedures that uphold the professional image of the organisation in a standardised and consistent manner.
Marketing Analysis:
To execute the corporate-identity for the company by ensuring that all internal communication and events adhere to the set corporate identify policies and procedures that uphold the professional image of the organisation in a standardised and consistent manner.
Service Provider Management:
To ensure that the marketing and communications initiatives are executed effectively in accordance with agreed SLA’s, to support the achievement of the marketing and event plans.

Candidate Requirements
Basic Requirements:Formal Qualifications:
Degree in Marketing, Communications, or equivalent (essential)
Digital Marketing Certificate (essential)
Project or Event Management (desirable)
Experience:
At least 3 years’ experience in a marketing or communications role (essential)
At least 2 years’ experience in managing large corporate events (essential)
Experience in a social media and campaign coordination (essential)
Job Related Knowledge:
Working knowledge of marketing and communication in a similar environment (essential)
Knowledge of relevant legislation impacting communication and marketing strategies (essential)
Knowledge of social media platforms and associated technology used in industry (essential)
Knowledge of supplier procurement process (desirable)
Knowledge of media and publications industry (desirable)
