Junior and mid-level quantity surveyors required by Analytical Projects VDDB.
Successful candidate will work mainly on engineering projects and develop a broad set of skills for project capital costing, procurement and contract administration. The position is office based in Pretoria, South Africa.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Process engineering schedules and lists for bills of quantities
- Take-off from drawings
- Participate in capital cost estimation
- Prepare interim payment certificates
- Final account quantities, costs and negotiations

Candidate Requirements
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Data processing and management
- Understanding of costs for construction
- Fluent in English and Afrikaans
- Report writing
- Quantitative and cost analysis
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
- BSc(QS)
- Good verbal and communication skills
- Strong analytical capability
- Ability to interpret and apply different methods of measure globally
PREFERENCES
The following is not compulsory but will be useful:
- Planning (time scheduling) skills
- Third language (eg French, Spanish)
- Researcher
- Global trade and industry experience
