An exciting opportunity exists for a Professional Quantity Surveyor to join our client’s growing team in Johannesburg. The successful candidate will play a key role in the financial and contractual management of commercial construction projects within the private sector.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Compile and manage project cost plans and budgets
Prepare tender and contract documentation
Monitor project expenditure and financial performance
Assess contractor claims and payment certificates
Perform quantity take-offs and measurements using DimX
Maintain accurate project reporting and commercial records
Collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams to ensure project success

Candidate Requirements

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying
Professional Quantity Surveyor registration (PrQS)
Previous experience on commercial private sector developments
Advanced proficiency in WinQS and DimX
Strong understanding of construction contracts and commercial processes
High attention to detail and organisational ability
Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
