JOB SUMMARY

The Yard Marshal is responsible for monitoring and controlling all yard activities to identify, report, and prevent risk-related violations within the FMCG warehouse environment. The role focuses on maintaining a safe, compliant, and secure yard operation by enforcing site safety procedures, traffic rules, loading protocols, and incident prevention measures.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES.

Monitor vehicle and pedestrian movement to prevent unsafe practices.

Identify and report safety, security, and compliance violations in the yard area.

Ensure drivers and contractors comply with site rules, PPE requirements, and traffic controls.

Inspect loading/unloading activities for potential operational risks.

Escalate incidents, hazards, damages, and near misses immediately.

Maintain accurate records of violations, incidents, and corrective actions.

Support investigations relating to accidents, theft, product damage, or procedural breaches.

Conduct routine yard patrols to ensure continuous compliance with warehouse safety standards.
