Hire Resolve’s client is a fast-growing and highly respected professional quantity surveying and cost consultancy, offering an exciting opportunity for a driven Candidate Quantity Surveyor to join their dynamic team based in Ballito.

This is an incredible opportunity to work closely with an experienced Director, gain exposure to diverse projects (residential, commercial, and civil), and even contribute to international projects

Key Responsibilities
• Assist with preparation of Bills of Quantities (BOQs), cost estimates, and tender documentation
• Conduct site measurements, progress valuations, and prepare payment certificates
• Support procurement activities, including issuing enquiries and analysing contractor quotes
• Assist with cost reporting, cashflow forecasting, and budget control
• Participate in contract administration tasks (variations, claims, documentation)
• Maintain accurate project records and documentation
• Liaise with contractors, consultants, and clients as required
• Attend site meetings and prepare related reports
• Support with ad-hoc technical and administrative tasks

Required Skills & Experience
• BSc/BTech in Quantity Surveying (completed or final-year)
• Valid Candidate QS registration or eligibility for SACQSP registration
• Strong understanding of measurement principles (ASAQS or relevant standards)
• Proficiency in MS Suite and basic QS software (WinQS/ DimX or similar)
• Valid driver’s license with car and willingness to travel to sites
• Strong numerical skills and attention to detail
• No criminal record
