Requirements:

·        A minimum of 6 years of experience in road design is required.

·        Education: BEng or BTech in Civil Engineering as a minimum.

·        Being registered with Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA) as a Professional Engineer (Pr. Eng.) or Professional Technologist (Pr. Tech Eng.) is preferred.

·        Strong skills in AutoCAD and Civil 3D are essential. Experience with ACC (BIM360) and Navisworks is a plus.

·        Must be highly skilled in geometric design for roads and highways, especially for national and provincial authorities.

·        Proven experience working on complex road projects, including freeway interchanges, major provincial roads, urban arterial roads, dual carriageways, intersections, roundabouts, road markings, and drainage systems.

·        Ability to develop detailed 3D models (LOD greater than 300) is an advantage.

·        Capable of preparing road infrastructure design reports.

·        Experience in compiling tender documents, including specifications, quantities, and cost estimates.

·        Familiarity with COLTO, COTO, and general contract conditions is beneficial.

·        On-site (construction/site) experience is an added advantage.

·        Must adhere to the company’s ISO quality standards.
