Has solid automotive marketing experience without necessarily being at senior executive level.

Understands the pace and demands of a dealership environment.

Has worked closely with OEMs and knows how to balance dealer needs with brand requirements.

Is confident enough to manage multiple stakeholders, but still hands-on in execution.

Brings strong commercial thinking, accountability, and attention to detail.

Position Overview

Leading Motor Retail Group seeking ooking an experienced and driven Marketing Manager / Regional Marketing Manager to oversee and execute marketing activities across a portfolio of passenger and commercial dealerships.

This role is suited to a candidate with a strong automotive retail background, ideally someone who has worked within a dealership group, as a dealership marketing manager, regional marketing manager, or brand manager, and who has had direct exposure to OEM relationship management and dealer-level campaign execution.

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and tracking marketing initiatives across multiple brands and dealerships, with a strong focus on digital performance, lead generation, brand alignment, aftersales support, event execution, and OEM compliance. The role requires someone who is both strategic and hands-on, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deliver high-quality campaigns in a fast-paced dealer environment.

Key Requirements
Experience

Minimum 5–7 years’ marketing experience, preferably within the automotive retail industry.

Proven experience working with dealerships, dealership groups, or OEM-related marketing environments.

Strong understanding of both passenger and commercial vehicle marketing will be highly advantageous.

Previous experience in a Marketing Manager, Brand Manager, Dealer Marketing, or Regional Marketing role is preferred.

Demonstrated experience in digital campaign execution, retail marketing, promotions, and lead-generation campaigns.

Experience dealing directly with OEMs, including campaign rollout, approvals, brand compliance, and relationship management.

Skills & Competencies

Strong understanding of dealership marketing and the automotive sales environment.

Excellent project management and organisational skills.

Strong digital marketing knowledge, including paid media, social media, websites, email marketing, and reporting tools.

Ability to interpret campaign data and translate insights into action.

Strong stakeholder management skills and confidence in dealing with dealers, OEMs, agencies, and internal leadership.

Good written and verbal communication skills.

Able to work independently, take initiative, and manage multiple brands and deadlines simultaneously.

Detail-oriented, commercially minded, and solutions-driven.
Qualifications

Relevant qualification in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.

Additional digital marketing certifications would be advantageous.

Working Conditions

Full-time position.

May require occasional weekend or after-hours work for events, activations, and campaign rollouts.

Key Responsibilities

Marketing Strategy & Campaign Execution

Develop and implement marketing plans across a portfolio of passenger and commercial dealerships in line with business objectives.

Execute integrated marketing campaigns across digital, social media, website, email, paid media, promotions, and in-dealership activity.

Ensure all campaigns support key retail objectives including vehicle sales, lead generation, test drives, aftersales growth, and brand awareness.

Work closely with dealership management, sales teams, and aftersales teams to ensure marketing activity is aligned to monthly targets and dealer priorities.

Assist in rolling out OEM campaigns and dealer-specific initiatives in a way that is relevant to each dealership and market.
Digital Marketing & Performance Tracking

Manage and track digital marketing performance across all relevant platforms, including paid social, search, website activity, lead generation campaigns, and promotional activity.

Monitor campaign performance on an ongoing basis and provide recommendations to improve reach, engagement, lead quality, and conversion.

Track ROI and key marketing KPIs, ensuring campaigns are optimized and budgets are used effectively.

Prepare regular reporting for management on campaign delivery, performance, insights, and opportunities for improvement.

OEM & Brand Relationship Management

Work closely with OEM marketing teams to ensure dealer activity aligns with brand CI, campaign requirements, and OEM standards.

Build and maintain professional relationships with OEM contacts across both passenger and commercial brands.

Ensure all OEM-driven campaigns, co-op opportunities, marketing claims, and dealer submissions are executed accurately and on time.

Stay updated on OEM guidelines, campaign calendars, and compliance requirements, and ensure these are implemented across the dealerships.Key Requirements

Aftersales, Retention & Dealer Support

Support aftersales departments with campaigns aimed at increasing service bookings, parts sales, retention, and customer engagement.

Help drive aftersales carpark growth through targeted and relevant marketing initiatives.

Work with dealer teams to ensure offers, promotions, and customer communication are effectively marketed and followed through.

Provide ongoing marketing support and guidance to dealerships to improve campaign execution and brand consistency.
Events, Activations & Local Area Marketing

Plan and support dealership events, launches, activations, promotions, and customer engagement initiatives.

Ensure dealership events are professionally executed and aligned to both retail and brand objectives.

Identify local marketing opportunities to increase awareness and foot traffic within dealership areas.

Reporting, Administration & Cross-Functional Collaboration

Compile monthly marketing reports with clear commentary on campaign performance, lead activity, ROI, and recommendations.

Work closely with internal stakeholders including sales, aftersales, creative teams, digital partners, and senior management.

Manage multiple projects and deadlines across a number of dealerships and brands.

Ensure strong communication and coordination across all relevant departments.
