A well established Restuarant based in Johannesburg is seeking a Restuarant Manager.

Duties:

● Assist in recruiting, hiring and training all restaurant staff, including servers and hosts
● Scheduling employees to ensure shifts have proper coverage and are within the required working hours for the week
● Streamlining the restaurant processes to improve the guest experience
● Monitoring restaurant finances, including sales targets and management of expenses
● Enforcing food handling regulations and other guidelines to increase customer and staff safety
● Promoting the restaurant and strategizing on ways to bring in more customers
● Handling customer complaints closely with the Floor Manager
● Completing necessary paperwork, such as sales, inventory and staff log reports
● Submitting monthly payroll to the Operations Manager timeously to ensure that staff are paid on time
 ● Analysing stock to ensure that purchases remain within budget
● Managing equipment maintenance
● Taking accountability of the store as a whole to ensure a smooth operation
