Job Overview:

We are looking for an energetic and enthusiastic Recruitment Assistant to join our team in Johannesburg and support our recruitment operations in Scotland and across the UK. The role involves sourcing and placing candidates into apprenticeship positions across IT, marketing, administration, and data analytics roles.

The ideal candidate will have a confident phone manner, strong organisational skills, and the ability to build relationships with candidates and clients.

Key Responsibilities:

🔹 Advertise vacancies across multiple platforms to attract top talent
🔹 Screen and shortlist CVs of apprenticeship seekers
🔹 Write compelling job descriptions for various roles
🔹 Conduct pre-interviews via phone or video call to assess candidate suitability
🔹 Liaise with clients to arrange interviews and ensure smooth hiring processes
🔹 Coordinate with candidates, ensuring they are well-prepared and attend interviews
🔹 Update and maintain the CRM with candidate and client information
🔹 Engage with local authorities & careers officers to source potential candidates
🔹 Utilise LinkedIn to build connections with UK-based organisations and identify new job opportunities
