Our client, a well-established and highly respected construction company, is seeking an experienced Site Agent to join their team in Cape Town.

This is an excellent opportunity for a construction professional with a strong background in building projects to take ownership of site operations and contribute to the successful delivery of high-quality developments.

Key Responsibilities:

·        Manage and coordinate all site activities, staff, and subcontractors

·        Ensure works are executed in accordance with drawings and specifications

·        Monitor and drive progress against the construction programme

·        Enforce health & safety compliance and promote a safe working environment

·        Control material usage, deliveries, and site resources

·        Manage quality control, inspections, and defect close-out

·        Maintain accurate site records, reports, and documentation

·        Liaise with consultants, subcontractors, and project stakeholders

·        Identify and resolve site issues to maintain productivity

Minimum Requirements:

·        Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering / Construction Management

·        Minimum 7-10 years’ experience in construction, with site management exposure

·        Strong knowledge of construction methods, drawings, and specifications

·        Proven experience managing subcontractors and site teams

·        Knowledge of JBCC contracts and OHS requirements

·        Good communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
