-
Subcontractor Claims: Measure and verify work completed by subcontractors for monthly payment valuations.
-
SANS 1200 Compliance: Enforce rigorous adherence to SANS 1200 standard specifications for civil engineering construction (specifically sections covering concrete, formwork, and earthworks).
-
QA/QC Documentation: Maintain impeccable site records, including pour diaries, cube test results, waterproofing certificates, and "as-built" data.
-
Inspections: Conduct pre-pour inspections (formwork stability, rebar cover, cleanliness) and sign off with Resident Engineers.
-
HSE Enforcement: Maintain a zero-harm site culture by enforcing OHS Act regulations and company-specific safety files.
-
Risk Assessments: Lead risk assessments for high-risk activities (working at heights, scaffolding erection, heavy lifts, confined spaces).
-
Toolbox Talks: Ensure meaningful daily toolbox talks and safety briefings are conducted and documented.
-

-
Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and foster discipline among site foremen, team leaders, and direct labor crews.

-
Experience: 5–8 years of proven experience in civil construction, with a distinct track record of running structural concrete and major civil projects.
-
Technical Depth: Demonstrable expertise in supervising complex concrete pours, formwork systems, rebar placement, and advanced waterproofing applications.
-
Leadership: Proven experience managing multidisciplinary site teams and specialized subcontractors.
-
Licensing: Valid Code B (or higher) Driver’s License
