This role is based at either Head Office - Linbro Park OR PE for our Pharma Branch.

Education

• Matric
• 2-year freight forwarding related qualification at NQF level 4 and 5

Knowledge and experience

• Minimum of 5- 7 years import controlling experience in the Clearing and Forwarding Industry with proven track record of end to end process execution.
• Incoterms 2020 and Geographic locations
• Knowledge of commercial, transport, carrier & depot and statutory body documents & stamps
• Sound knowledge of seafreight and airfreight shipment types.
• Sound knowledge of claims/insurance processes.
• Knowledge and interpretation of rate structure
• National currencies and international codes
• CargoWise experience would be beneficial
• Computer literacy (MS Word, Excel and Outlook)
• Good Interpersonal skills and good communication skills (written &verbal)
• Situation analysis and problem solving
• Client orientation
• Accuracy, Punctual and attention to detail
• Time Management. Deadline Driven
• Ability to work in pressurised environment

• Forwarding of shipment
• Clearing of shipment
• Transport Coordination
• Invoicing and administration of shipment file
• Arrange insurance cover and process claims.
• Comply with the requirements of the quality management system.
• Ad hoc
