Our client in Linbro Park is looking for a detail-oriented Bookkeeper with experience managing the full bookkeeping function up to Trial Balance.The ideal candidate will have strong reconciliation skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to maintain accurate financial records in a fast-paced environment.If you are a reliable finance professional looking for your next opportunity, we would love to hear from you.

Minimum requirements:

• Relevant Bookkeeping, Accounting, or Finance qualification.
• Proven experience in a Bookkeeping role.
• Strong reconciliation and analytical skills.
• Experience with creditors, debtors, and payment processing.
• Sound understanding of VAT and general accounting principles.
• Experience with foreign payments, imports, and exports will be advantageous.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Key Responsibilities:

• Process local and foreign creditors.
• Prepare and submit foreign payment requests.
• Perform bank reconciliations and account reconciliations.
• Manage petty cash and forex petty cash.
• Process journals and general ledger adjustments.
• Load and process supplier payments.
• Maintain fleet card, fuel card, and pay card administration.
• Assist with payroll processing when required.
• Support the full debtors function as backup.
• Prepare and review supplier reconciliations and age analyses.
• Assist with VAT submissions and SARS compliance.
• Support month-end and year-end financial processes.
• Assist with audits and ad hoc financial reporting.
• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
• Assist with accounting functions up to Trial Balance.
