An experienced and driven Sales Manager is required to lead, develop, and grow a high-performing team of insurance advisors. This role combines sales leadership, business development, team management, and compliance oversight, offering excellent earning potential and career growth opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Recruit, train, mentor, and manage a team of insurance advisors.
- Drive sales performance and achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual targets.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to support business growth.
- Conduct performance reviews and sales meetings.
- Build and maintain a profitable personal client portfolio.
- Generate new business opportunities and develop referral networks.
- Identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with FAIS, FICA, POPIA, and industry regulations.
- Foster a culture of accountability, professionalism, and high performance.

Candidate Requirements
Minimum Requirements
- RE5 and RE1 qualifications (essential).
- NQF Level 4 or higher in Financial Services or a related field.
- Class of Business completed for Personal and Commercial Lines.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in Short-Term Insurance.
- Minimum 2 years' experience leading and managing a sales team.
- Proven track record in recruiting, developing, and managing successful sales professionals.
- Strong knowledge of Personal and Commercial Insurance products.
- Valid driver's licence and own reliable transport.
- Based in Gauteng (Johannesburg or Pretoria).
