HEAD: CORPORATE SERVERS
TCOE SALARY COMMENCING FROM R1,307,905 PER ANNUM ● REF NO: CS 83/26 ● CIVIC CENTRE, CAPE TOWN AND TRANSPORT MANAGEMENT CENTRE (TMC), GOODWOOD
Requirements:
- A relevant three-year ICT qualification
- Minimum eight (8) years’ relevant experience in Corporate/Enterprise Servers within the Information Technology environment
- Three (3) years at management level
- Local municipality experience would be advantageous.
Key performance areas:
- Deliver a support, development and maintenance service to ensure that users and business requests are delivered and that infrastructure systems meet business requirements
- Advise and inform stakeholders (normally at Executive Director, Director and Manager level) whose business processes interact with ICT Infrastructure resolution of issues, results, achievement and opportunities
- Manage multiple projects through the life cycle by ensuring effective delivery of projects
- Branch and resource management of the ICT infrastructure environment
- Financial planning and analysis for short-, medium- and long-term initiatives
- Value creating activities by good management of budget allocations to maximise the City's investment in its ICT infrastructure
- Apply a substantial body of professional knowledge in solution architecture and design of hardware infrastructure and backend support of multiple SAP Applications
- Design, implement and administer a complex interrelated SAP landscape as required by the ERP SAP Support Centre (ESC) department for the City's business units.
