Employer: WIRTGEN SOUTH AFRICA (PTY) LTD

 

Role Purpose:

The Service Administrator ensures the smooth, data-driven running of the Service Department with a strong emphasis on leveraging the John Deer Operations Centre (JDOC). The role coordinates service scheduling, maintains accurate records in ERP/CRM/SAP, supports technicians and customers, and turns JDOC insights into proactive maintenance actions and service opportunities. The administrator also supports onboarding, engagement, and user adoption of JDOC to improve uptime and customer satisfaction.

Required Skills

  • Sap: 2 to 3 years
  • Service Administration: 3 to 4 years
  • Crm Software: 2 to 3 years
  • Technical Support And Skills: 3 to 4 years

Candidate Requirements

Qualifications and Experience:

The successful candidate will have as a minimum:

·        Proven experience in a service administration or technical support environment, ideally within machinery / equipment services.

·         Proficiency with SAP, ERP and CRM systems.

·         Strong Microsoft Office skills.

·         Familiarity with JDOC or similar telematics/connected-support platforms (highly desirable).

·         Strong organizational, multitasking, and communication skills with a customer-centric approach.

·         Strong experience in planning.

 

Key Competencies:

 Service mindset with professional, solution-oriented communication.

·         Data-driven and meticulous; able to translate JDOC and ERP insights into clear actions.

·         Effective time management, documentation discipline, and cross-team coordination.

·         Ability to facilitate onboarding.
