About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Laundry Manager to oversee the daily operations of our laundry facility, ensuring high standards of cleanliness, efficiency, and quality. In this role, you will manage a team while focusing on process improvements and resource optimisation to meet the needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily operations of the laundry facility, ensuring effective workflow and timely service delivery.
- Supervise and train laundry staff to maintain operational excellence and high standards of cleanliness.
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures for efficient laundry operations and quality control.
- Oversee inventory management, including ordering and maintaining stock levels of cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Monitor machine performance and coordinate maintenance to ensure equipment is in optimal working condition.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies in all operational aspects.
- Maintain records of laundry operations, including equipment usage, staff performance, and service statistics.
- Address and resolve customer inquiries and concerns with a focus on service improvement.

Requirements
- Proven track record in laundry operations management or a related field.
- Demonstrable experience in team leadership and staff training.
- Strong understanding of laundry processes, equipment, and chemicals used in the industry.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Solid knowledge of health and safety regulations pertinent to the laundry industry.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with staff and clients positively.
- Proficiency in basic computer skills for record-keeping and reporting.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with managing budgets and cost control within a laundry operation.
- Certification in laundry or hospitality management is an advantage.
- Familiarity with sustainability practices in laundry operations.
- Additional languages spoken would be beneficial to accommodate a diverse clientele.
