Senior Quantity Surveyor – Residential Property Development📍 Northern Suburbs, Cape Town🏗️ Office & Site Based Position

A leading residential Property Developer is seeking to appoint an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their growing team based in the Northern Suburbs of Cape Town.

This is an excellent opportunity for a driven and commercially minded QS to become part of a dynamic development environment working on large-scale residential projects from inception through to completion.

Minimum Requirements:

• Degree / Diploma in Quantity Surveying
• Minimum 10 years’ experience within the construction or property development sector
• Strong residential building project experience essential
• Proven experience managing project costs, budgets, procurement, and subcontractor accounts
• Ability to work independently across both office and site environments
• Strong contractual and financial management skills
• Excellent communication and reporting abilities
• Proficient in CCS Candy and Microsoft Office advantageous
• Valid driver’s licence essential

Key Responsibilities:

• Full quantity surveying functions on residential developments
• Cost planning, estimating, and budget control
• Tender adjudication and subcontractor management
• Preparation and management of payment certificates and valuations
• Monitoring project profitability and financial reporting
• Site measurements and progress evaluations
• Liaising with contractors, consultants, and project teams
• Ensuring projects remain within budget and programme targets
