About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Administrator: Service Advisor (Non-Technical) to join our team at VW Midrand. In this role, you will focus on delivering exceptional customer service, managing administrative tasks, and supporting our service advisors in ensuring an efficient workflow. You will be vital in enhancing customer satisfaction through effective communication and meticulous attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage customer inquiries and service appointments through various communication channels, including phone, email, and in-person interactions.
- Coordinate with service advisors and technical staff to ensure timely and accurate information is conveyed to customers.
- Maintain and organize service records, ensuring all documentation is complete and up to date.
- Facilitate customer follow-ups to ensure satisfaction with services rendered and address any concerns promptly.
- Assist in preparing reports related to service performance, customer feedback, and operational efficiency.
- Support the service team by handling administrative tasks, including filing, scheduling, and inventory management.
- Contribute to a positive team environment by collaborating with colleagues and sharing insights for continuous improvement.
- Uphold company policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Requirements
- Proven experience in an administrative role, preferably within the automotive industry or a customer service-oriented environment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse customers and team members.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite and familiar with customer relationship management (CRM) software.
- Adaptability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle change with a positive attitude.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of automotive terminology and processes would be an advantage.
- Certification in customer service or related field is a plus.
- Experience working in a dealership setting or similar operational environment.
- Fluency in multiple languages would be beneficial for customer engagement.
