About the Role
As a Controller for Vehicle Stock at Isuzu Vereeniging, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing vehicle inventory management processes to ensure optimal stock levels and efficient operations. This role focuses on inventory control, reporting, and collaboration with various departments to enhance vehicle stock management efforts.

Key Responsibilities
- Monitor vehicle stock levels and implement strategies to minimise shortages and overstock situations.
- Conduct regular audits of inventory and assist in maintaining accurate vehicle records in the management system.
- Collaborate with sales and service departments to understand demand patterns and forecast inventory needs effectively.
- Generate and analyse reports on vehicle stock performance, providing actionable insights to improve stock management processes.
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of vehicles.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements related to vehicle stock management.
- Train and support team members in inventory practices and procedures to enhance overall operational efficiency.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to streamline stock management processes.

Requirements
- Demonstrable experience in inventory management, preferably in the automotive industry.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate comprehensive reports.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of vehicle specifications and market trends will be advantageous.

Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, logistics, or a related field.
- Previous experience in a controller or similar role within the automotive sector.
- Certification in inventory management or supply chain management would be an advantage.
