The Armed / Tactical Response Officer is responsible for maintaining site security, responding to security incidents, and ensuring the protection of personnel, property, and assets within a high-security environment. The role requires disciplined, physically fit, and professional individuals with strong tactical awareness and the ability to operate effectively under pressure.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide armed and tactical security response services
Protect personnel, property, and client assets
Respond to security incidents and emergencies promptly
Conduct patrols and maintain site security procedures
Ensure compliance with security and operational standards
Maintain professional conduct and appearance at all times
Complete all required security documentation and incident reports
Adhere to all firearm competency and legal requirements
Support operational safety and security objectives

Candidate Requirements

Requirements:

PSiRA Grade C Certificate
Valid South African ID
SAPS Competency Certificate
PTFC Statement of Results
Valid Driver’s Licence
Previous armed or tactical response experience advantageous
Physically fit and well-presented
Strong communication and observation skills
Ability to work under pressure in high-risk environments
Criminal Check not older than 3 months required before screening
