To carry out the heavy repair and overhaul of locomotives (General Motors, Funky & General Electric) in line with industry standards;

   To ensure the maintenance of all earth moving machinery and maintenance schedules.

 Ensuring that site maintenance and repairs are carried out on rolling stock;

·       To follow company Health and Safety procedures as laid down in the Safety Management System; SANS 3000-2-3-2017 (Requirements for systemic engineering and operational safety standards-rolling stock);

          Ordering and managing relevant parts from relevant suppliers;

·       To ensure all sites capture information on ACAP system and required reports and compliance documentation are always in place;

         To ensure all components repair are managed and controlled;

          Conduct stored spare parts audit on site;

          Support Site and ensuring Locos are maintained promptly.
