Description:
Hire Resolve's Client is currently looking for an experienced Mine Overseer to join their mining company based in Limpopo. You will be responsible for leading and coordinating mining operations to ensure safe production, operational efficiency and achievement of business objectives.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and coordinate safe and efficient mining operations in accordance with operational and legal requirements.
• Manage production activities to achieve planned mining targets and quality standards.
• Coordinate short- to medium-term mining plans, layouts and operational schedules.
• Monitor mining performance and implement improvement initiatives to optimise productivity.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental and operational standards.
• Lead and develop teams to support performance, capability and operational effectiveness.
• Support the implementation of mining best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure effective execution of operational requirements.

Requirements:

• Grade 12
• 10 years' experience within the mining industry
• Minimum 5 years' experience in Bord and Pillar mining operations
• Mine Overseer's Certificate of Competency
• Mine Manager's Certificate of Competency
• Valid Blasting Certificate (Underground/Scheduled Mines)
• Valid Driver's License
