Employer: MSP Staffing (PTY) LTD

Our client, a multidisciplinary property development management company operating across South Africa and Namibia, is seeking a Junior / Intermediate Quantity Surveyor to join their Cape Town office. This opportunity is ideal for a developing QS professional or a newly registered Quantity Surveyor looking to accelerate their career within a high-performance property development environment, supported by structured mentorship and exposure to large-scale projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with cost planning, feasibility studies, and budget preparation
Support preparation of Bills of Quantities and tender documentation
Assist with procurement processes and tender evaluations
Compile monthly valuations, cost reports, and cash flow forecasts
Support contract administration and variation assessments
Assist with final accounts and project close-out processes
Liaise with consultants, contractors, and internal project teams
Maintain accurate project financial and contractual records

Candidate Requirements

Minimum Requirements:

BSc / BTech Degree in Quantity Surveying
Relevant QS experience required (consulting or development environment)
Candidate not yet registered or newly registered QS welcome
Exposure to property development projects advantageous
Strong numerical and analytical ability
Good understanding of construction cost management principles
Based in or willing to relocate to Cape Town
