An excellent opportunity exists for a Structural Engineer to join our client’s Pretoria office. The successful candidate will be involved in structural design, analysis, and drafting across a range of building projects within a consulting engineering environment.

Responsibilities:

Undertake structural design and analysis for various projects
Prepare detailed structural drawings and technical reports
Use CAD and BIM software to develop engineering solutions
Assist in ensuring compliance with relevant design codes and standards
Collaborate with senior engineers on project delivery
Participate in design coordination and technical reviews
Support project execution through all design stages

Candidate Requirements

Requirements:

BSc/BEng degree in Civil Engineering
2–5 years’ structural engineering design experience
Strong foundation in structural analysis and design principles
Proficiency in structural CAD software
Exposure to Eurocode design standards advantageous
Experience with Tekla Structural Designer, Prokon, AutoCAD, and Revit beneficial

Competencies:

Strong numerical and analytical skills
High attention to detail
Ability to manage tasks under pressure
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Willingness to learn and grow within a consulting environment
