An exciting opportunity is available for a Professional Civil Engineer to join our client’s Durban office. Our client is looking for a driven and experienced engineering professional with strong civil infrastructure design capabilities within both municipal and private sector developments.

Responsibilities:

Deliver civil engineering designs for infrastructure and development projects
Design roads, stormwater systems, water reticulation, sanitation networks, and earthworks
Prepare engineering calculations, specifications, and tender documentation
Liaise with municipal authorities, developers, and project stakeholders
Manage project timelines and ensure quality deliverables
Provide mentorship and technical guidance where required
Support construction teams with technical input and design reviews

Candidate Requirements

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
Professional registration as PrEng
Experience in consulting engineering environments
Demonstrated expertise in municipal infrastructure and property development projects
Strong technical design and problem-solving abilities
Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary project teams
Good report writing and communication skills
