Purpose of the PositionThe Wellness Therapist is responsible for providing professional wellness, spa, and beauty treatments to guests within a hospitality establishment. The role focuses on promoting relaxation, health, and wellbeing while ensuring excellent customer service and maintaining high hygiene and treatment standards. Key ResponsibilitiesGuest Treatments and ServicesProvide spa and wellness treatments such as massages, facials, body treatments, and aromatherapy.Conduct consultations to determine guest needs and preferences.Recommend suitable wellness products and treatments.Ensure guests are comfortable and satisfied during treatments.Customer ServiceDeliver excellent guest service and professional care.Handle guest enquiries and appointments.Build positive relationships with guests to encourage repeat visits.Manage guest complaints professionally.Hygiene and SafetyMaintain cleanliness and hygiene in treatment rooms and spa areas.Sterilise equipment and ensure safe treatment practices.Follow health and safety regulations at all times.AdministrationMaintain treatment records and client information.Assist with stock control of spa products and supplies.Process bookings and payments when required.Sales and PromotionPromote spa packages, treatments, and wellness products.Assist in achieving spa sales targets and revenue goals.

Reporting To
- Certificate or Diploma in Beauty Therapy, Wellness Therapy, Somatology, or related field.
- Accredited massage or spa therapy qualification.
- First Aid certification is advantageous.
Experience
- 1–3 years’ experience as a spa or wellness therapist.
- Experience in a hotel, lodge, resort, or spa environment preferred.
Knowledge
- Spa and wellness treatment techniques.
- Skin and body care products.
- Health, hygiene, and safety standards.
- Customer care and hospitality service standards.
