A well-established insurance administration company is seeking an experienced Underwriting Administrator to join their Middelburg branch. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing efficient underwriting administration support across both commercial and domestic insurance portfolios.

Minimum Requirements:

• FAIS compliant (relevant qualification & RE completed)
• Class of Business completed (where applicable)
• Minimum 3 years’ relevant underwriting experience
• Strong commercial and domestic insurance knowledge
• Excellent communication and client service skills
• Strong administration and attention to detail
• MS Office proficiency and experience working in a paperless/workflow environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Liaising with brokers, insurers, suppliers, and clients
• Processing quotes, renewals, endorsements, and new policies
• Managing underwriting administration and portfolio records
• Handling client queries and maintaining strong relationships
• Assessing risks and assisting with policy terms and premium calculations
• Managing credit control on client portfolios
• Ensuring SLA adherence and accurate record keeping
