Job Profile: Distribution Controller

Role Summary

The primary purpose of the role is to support the Operations Manager with day-to-day management and execution of branch operations, including (but not limited to) inventory oversight, OH&S, contractor management, logistics coordination, customer service, and monitoring of outsourced business partner performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Operations Manager with day-to-day branch operations.
• Manage and oversee inventory and related operational controls.
• Ensure compliance with OH&S requirements.
• Oversee contractor management and ensure service delivery.
• Monitor, manage, and review outsourced business partner SLA performance, policies, and procedures.
• Recommend operational decisions to the Operations Manager.
• Oversee all distribution and delivery activities of the depot from induction points to final receivers on behalf of clients, ensuring delivery is:
• within agreed timeframes,
• aligned to operating procedures,
• and achieved at the lowest cost.
• Support customer service and ensure delivery requirements are met consistently.
