The Senior Feature Analyst leads the analysis and design of complex, industry-aligned solutions by translating business needs into detailed functional specifications. Operating at a self-directed level, the role fosters strong cross-functional relationships and collaborates closely with Product Owners, Solution Architects, Designers, and business stakeholders to drive product outcomes and ensure end-to-end alignment. This job provides thought leadership on business processes and leads solution development that promotes efficiency, scalability, and customer value. It guides and mentors other feature analysts, supporting the maturity of the practice and delivery of high-quality features. Additionally, this job supports product leadership in managing scope, stakeholder expectations, and the timely delivery of strategic initiatives.
Job Description
Requirements Management | PROJECT AND PROGRAM MANAGEMENT | PROJECT/PROGRAM/PORTFOLIO MANAGEMENT
Plan and coordinate the identification and elicitation of requirements; conduct analysis of those requirements for completion and alignment; document and manage requirements throughout the life of the project; and coordinate the verification of the end deliverable. Generally done at the project level.
Analysis of "As Is" and "To Be" | INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY/DIGITAL | BUSINESS AND SYSTEMS ANALYSIS
Document the most complex "as is" and "to be" processes and describe the changes required to migrate to the "to be" capability, to accurately record the changes required
Business Requirements Identification | INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY/DIGITAL | BUSINESS AND SYSTEMS ANALYSIS
Elicit complex business requirements using a variety of methods, such as interviews, document analysis, workshops, and workflow analysis, to express the requirements in terms of target user roles and goals.
Enterprise Business Analysis | PROJECT AND PROGRAM MANAGEMENT | PROJECT/PROGRAM/PORTFOLIO MANAGEMENT
Interpret the business need and identify solution recommendations to business problems at a business unit level. Lead the improvement efforts that are within span of control at this level.
Feasibility Studies | INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY/DIGITAL | BUSINESS AND SYSTEMS ANALYSIS
Conduct feasibility studies from a technological and organisational perspective and document findings to complete cost-benefit analysis on implementing changes to business processes, products, or business unit structure.

Explore and develop a detailed understanding of external developments or emerging issues and contribute to the evaluation of their potential impact on, or usefulness to, the organisation.
Business Case | GENERAL | ADVICE
Manage the delivery of feasibility and assessment work for proposed and current projects to contribute to the development and continuous review of business cases.
Documentation and Backup | INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY/DIGITAL | DATA MANAGEMENT
Create and maintain complex technical and/or user documentation to a high standard, and back up files to ensure instant recovery if problems occur.
Culture of Innovation | GENERAL | INNOVATION
Promote a culture of innovation by creating solutions that boost creativity, innovation, and collaboration, such as idea generation platforms, jam sessions, and hackathons.
Agile Backlog Management | PROJECT AND PROGRAM MANAGEMENT | PROJECT/PROGRAM/PORTFOLIO MANAGEMENT
Review the backlog of work for a medium-sized project and reprioritize the work and the deployment of project resources to reduce costs and increase the value of the work delivered to the business.
Practice Leadership | GENERAL | LEADERSHIP AND SUPERVISION
Act as the practice lead to define and develop the standard of excellent practice, in line with national frameworks, standards, and legislation. Includes bringing best practice from research and latest legislative changes.
Agile Development Team Facilitation | PROJECT AND PROGRAM MANAGEMENT | PROJECT/PROGRAM/PORTFOLIO MANAGEMENT
Lead Scrum ceremonies, remove obstacles, and facilitate problem-solving, collaboration, and conflict resolution to enable the most effective work delivery by development teams on medium-sized projects.
