The incumbent, reporting to the Extrusion Supervisor, will be responsible for the operation of a 3 layer blown film extruder.

Key responsibilities:

• To set- up machine in accordance with the job specification and ensure correct resins are used.
• The machine set to the job specifications to achieve efficiency and production
• To ensure all extruded product is checked and passed to the customer standard.
• To maintain all the standard operating procedures.
• To ensure Housekeeping and Safety levels are maintained as per standard.
• To highlight any non-conformance immediately

To be considered for this position, you will need to meet the following requirements:

• Grade 12 and/or relevant tertiary qualification
• 2-3 years’ experience in operating a 3-layer blown film extruder
• Computer literate
• Good visual perception and colour vision
• Attention to detail
• Good written and verbal skills
• Good problem-solving, planning and organising skills
• Good numeracy and literacy acumen
• Willing to work shifts
• Enthusiastic, committed and eager team-player
