Job PurposeOur client based in the heart of George, is on a recruitment drive for a Technical Sales Representative to join their team. The ideal candidate will be required to drive revenue growth by proactively reaching out to new and existing customers, generating leads, and closing sales for power equipment.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct outbound sales calls to prospective and existing customersIdentify new business opportunities within residential, commercial, and agricultural sectorsPromote and sell a wide range of outdoor power productsGenerate and follow up on leads through calls, emails, and networkingBuild and maintain strong customer relationshipsPrepare quotes, negotiate pricing, and close salesMeet and exceed monthly sales targets and KPIsMaintain accurate records of customer interactions in CRM or sales systemsStay informed on product knowledge, industry trends, and competitor offeringsCollaborate with internal sales and service teams to ensure seamless customer experience

Minimum Requirements

Matric (Grade 12) or equivalent
Proven experience in sales, preferably outbound or telesales
Strong communication and persuasion skills
Basic computer literacy (CRM systems, email, Microsoft Office)
Valid driver’s license (advantageous if client visits are required)

Preferred Skills & Experience

Experience in equipment, hardware, or machinery sales
Knowledge of outdoor power equipment (lawnmowers, chainsaws, water pumps generators, etc.)
Ability to generate leads and close deals independently
Strong negotiation and objection-handling skills
