Job PurposeOur client based in the heart of George, is on a recruitment drive for a driven and self-motivated Internal Sales / Counter Salesperson to join their team. The ideal candidate should have basic knowledge and understanding of outdoor power products.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist walk-in and telephonic customers with product inquiries and purchasesProvide knowledgeable advice on a range of outdoor power productsPrepare quotes, process orders, and follow up on leadsMaintain strong customer relationships and ensure high levels of customer satisfactionHandle invoicing, payments, and basic administrative tasksCoordinate with the workshop/service team regarding repairs and product availabilityEnsure the showroom is clean, organized, and well-stockedStay up to date with product knowledge, promotions, and pricingAssist with stock takes and inventory control

Minimum Requirements

Matric (Grade 12) or equivalent
Previous experience in sales or customer service (preferably in retail or equipment sales)
Basic computer literacy (POS systems, email, Excel)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Skills & Experience

Knowledge of outdoor power products such as lawnmowers, chainsaws, brush cutters, etc.
Technical aptitude or willingness to learn about machinery
Sales-driven mindset with the ability to upsell and cross-sell
Good problem-solving skills

Working Hours

Retail hours, including Saturdays (as required)
