Our client in Paarl is in need of an experience Millwright to join their team.

Key Responsibilities
Perform preventative and planned maintenance on plant equipment
Conduct fault finding and repairs on mechanical and electrical systems
Minimise downtime and ensure continuous production
Install, test, and commission new machinery and equipment
Maintain PLC systems (basic fault finding and diagnostics)
Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations
Keep accurate maintenance records and reports
Assist with continuous improvement initiatives
 
Minimum Requirements
Grade 12 (Matric)
Trade Test Certificate (Millwright) – Red Seal preferred
N3 (Electrical/Mechanical) or higher
3–5 years’ experience in a manufacturing/FMCG environment
Strong knowledge of:
Electrical systems
Mechanical maintenance
Hydraulics & pneumatics
 
Key Skills & Competencies
Strong troubleshooting and fault-finding ability
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Good communication and teamwork skills
High attention to detail
