We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented EHS Officer (Environmental, Health & Safety Officer) to join a leading food manufacturing operation in the Western Cape. This role is responsible for ensuring a safe working environment, maintaining full regulatory compliance, and supporting environmental sustainability initiatives within a fast-paced FMCG production facility.

The successful candidate will play a key role in driving a strong safety culture across the plant while working closely with production, engineering, maintenance, and quality teams. You will be responsible for identifying and mitigating risks, ensuring compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act, and supporting environmental management systems in line with industry best practices.

Candidate Requirements

Minimum Requirements:

Grade 12
Tertiary qualification in Quality/Health and Safety
Experience with SMETA audits
5 years’ experience within a food manufacturing environment
