Candidate Requirements

Five Non-Negotiable Skills

1. Strong Software & AI Engineering (Hands-On)

Proven experience building and deploying production-grade AI solutions end-to-end, including pipelines, services, integrations, testing, deployment and operational support. This is a builder role, not a research role.

2. Proficiency in Python

Advanced Python capability for data processing, AI pipeline engineering, model integration, orchestration, automation and API/service development. Python is the core delivery language.

3. Applied AI & Engineering Best Practices

Strong grounding in AI engineering best practices including model versioning, reproducibility, monitoring, logging, performance tracking, explainability and lifecycle management. Able to engineer stable, observable and auditable solutions.

4. LLM, NLP & Document AI (OCR)

Hands-on experience implementing solutions using LLMs, NLP techniques and OCR pipelines, including document ingestion, text extraction, classification, retrieval-based Q&A and structured output generation for downstream compliance use cases.

5. Governance-Aware Delivery in Regulated Environments

Ability to deliver AI solutions under AI governance, model risk and compliance constraints, embedding required technical controls and auditability into solutions by design rather than after deployment.

Not a pure Data Scientist role. 

Not a research or experimentation role. 

Not a low-code or automation-only role.

This role exists to land AI solutions into Group Compliance at scale, safely and reliably.
