- Manage the end-to-end export process for table grapes
- Liaise with exporters, freight forwarders and cold stores
- Prepare and oversee all export documentation (commercial invoices, packing lists, PPECB documentation, phytosanitary requirements, etc.)
- Ensure compliance with all export regulations and protocols
- Track shipments and proactively manage delays or disruptions
- Plan and coordinate daily logistics from packhouse to port
- Manage loading schedules and cold chain integrity
- Coordinate with transporters and cold storage facilities
- Monitor container bookings, stack dates, and port operations
- Optimize logistics costs and efficiency
- Maintain and manage operational systems (packhouse, stock, and export tracking systems)
- Ensure accurate allocation of costs to orchards and cost centres
- Generate and analyze reports on volumes, exports, and performance
- Improve and streamline systems and workflows where possible
- Support integration between operational, financial, and reporting systems
- Act as the central point of communication between farm, packhouse, and export partners
- Provide regular updates to management on exports, logistics, and risks
- Resolve operational issues quickly and effectively
Role Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and systems-driven individual to manage and coordinate our export processes, logistics operations, and internal systems. This role is critical in ensuring the smooth movement of table grapes from packhouse to international markets, while maintaining accurate system control and reporting across all cost centres.

Candidate Requirements
- Proven experience in fruit exports, preferably table grapes
- Strong understanding of export documentation and procedures
- Experience with logistics coordination and cold chain management
- High level of computer literacy (Excel essential; experience with ERP/packhouse systems advantageous)
- Strong administrative and organizational skills
- Ability to work under pressure during peak harvest season
- Experience working with PPECB and export compliance systems
- Familiarity with port operations and shipping schedules
- Systems-oriented mindset with process improvement capability
- Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Proactive and solution-driven
- Strong communicator
- Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
