SENIOR PROFESSIONAL OFFICER: PLAN AND BUILD
TCOE SALARY COMMENCING R1,071,429 PER ANNUM ● REF NO: CS 60/26 ● DURBANVILLE
Requirements:
- A relevant three-year qualification, preferably a degree in the built environment
- Five (5) to eight (8) years’ experience, including supervisory or project management exposure in telecoms, civils, fibre, and radio infrastructure environments
- Knowledge of relevant standards, policies, and regulatory requirements within telecoms or infrastructure planning and build environments
- A valid driver’s licence.
Key performance areas:
- Develop, manage, and maintain detailed civils, fibre (OSP/ISP), and radio infrastructure plans
- Provide oversight of the execution phase of the TBS infrastructure-built programme
- Provide oversight during build execution to meet time, cost, and quality targets
- Lead stakeholder engagement for construction and infrastructure rollout projects
- Manage acceptance processes, inspections, and project signoffs
- Approve deviations, resolve build issues, and update as built records
- Drive operational effectiveness, SOP development, and continuous improvement
- Participate in risk identification, monitoring, reporting, and mitigation actions
- Facilitate and lead technical workgroups and stakeholder interactions
- Lead and support projects within the Plan and Build domain.
