SENIOR PROFESSIONAL OFFICER: PLAN AND BUILD 

TCOE SALARY COMMENCING R1,071,429 PER ANNUM ● REF NO: CS 60/26 ● DURBANVILLE

Requirements:   

• A relevant three-year qualification, preferably a degree in the built environment
• Five (5) to eight (8) years’ experience, including supervisory or project management exposure in telecoms, civils, fibre, and radio infrastructure environments
• Knowledge of relevant standards, policies, and regulatory requirements within telecoms or infrastructure planning and build environments
• A valid driver’s licence.

Key performance areas:  

• Develop, manage, and maintain detailed civils, fibre (OSP/ISP), and radio infrastructure plans
• Provide oversight of the execution phase of the TBS infrastructure-built programme
• Provide oversight during build execution to meet time, cost, and quality targets
• Lead stakeholder engagement for construction and infrastructure rollout projects
• Manage acceptance processes, inspections, and project signoffs
• Approve deviations, resolve build issues, and update as built records
• Drive operational effectiveness, SOP development, and continuous improvement
• Participate in risk identification, monitoring, reporting, and mitigation actions
• Facilitate and lead technical workgroups and stakeholder interactions
• Lead and support projects within the Plan and Build domain.
