Employer: Placement Point (Pty) Ltd

A well-established Aircraft company seeking a dynamic, results-driven Sales Manager to lead and grow sales operations.

Qualification:

·       Bachelor’s degree in business, Aviation Management, Marketing, or a related field (MBA is a plus)

·       Minimum of 5 years’ experience in aircraft sales or high-value asset sales

·       Strong understanding of aircraft types, values, and the aviation sales process (including documentation, escrow, and registration)

·       Exceptional negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills

·       Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets

·       Self-motivated and capable of working independently with minimal supervision

·       Proficiency in CRM tools and MS Office Suite

·       Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required

Preferred Attributes

·       Existing network within the aviation industry (operators, brokers, OEMs, etc.)

·       Multilingual skills are a plus

·       FAA or EASA aviation certifications (pilot license, maintenance background, etc.) are an advantage


Candidate Requirements

Duties:     

·        Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve company revenue targets for new and pre-owned aircraft

·        Identify new business opportunities and cultivate relationships with buyers, brokers, aircraft owners, and operators

·        Manage and maintain a robust sales pipeline from lead generation through to closing

·        Negotiate terms and close sales transactions, ensuring compliance with aviation regulations and internal policies

·        Coordinate with legal, finance, and technical teams to facilitate smooth transaction processes

·        Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform pricing strategies and sales tactics

·        Attend industry events, trade shows, and client meetings domestically and internationally as required

·        Provide regular sales forecasts, reports, and performance updates to senior management

·        Manage and mentor a team of junior sales staff (if applicable)
