Overview
We are a privately owned investment group with interests in property, retail, hospitality, and FMCG distribution. We are establishing a Cape Town-based office to centralise financial control, property administration, and investment analysis across the group.
We are seeking a highly capable, commercially minded individual to take ownership of operational reporting, property portfolio management support, and investment analysis.
Key Responsibilities
1. Property Portfolio Management
- Manage monthly rental invoicing and collections tracking
- Monitor lease agreements, escalations, and renewals
- Track tenant performance and arrears
- Reconcile municipal accounts, utilities, and recoveries
- Coordinate with managing agents, contractors, and service providers
2. Financial Reporting & Analysis
- Prepare monthly management accounts across group businesses
- Analyse performance of operating entities including:
- Coffee retail operations
- Boutique hospitality
- FMCG distribution
- Identify cost inefficiencies and opportunities to improve margins
- Maintain consolidated reporting dashboard for group oversight
3. Payroll & Administrative Oversight
- Process monthly payroll across group entities
- Maintain employee records and compliance documentation
- Oversee general administrative processes and controls
4. Investment & Deal Analysis
- Conduct financial analysis on property acquisitions and developments
- Prepare feasibility models including yield, IRR, and cash flow projections
- Assist in evaluating new business opportunities
- Prepare internal investment memos and summaries
5. Development & Project Support
- Assist in coordination of new developments (retail centres, fuel stations, etc.)
- Track project budgets, timelines, and professional teams
- Support feasibility and planning stages of new developments

Candidate Requirements
Minimum Requirements
- 5+ years experience in finance, property, or investment-related roles
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (financial modelling essential)
- Experience in property management or real estate finance advantageous
- Basic accounting knowledge (management accounts, cash flow, payroll)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
