Our client in Wellington is looking for a Diesel Mechanic to join their growing team.

Requirements:
Minimum 3–5 years’ experience working on trucks. Volvo truck experience advantageous
Strong knowledge of truck diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance.
Ability to identify faults and perform mechanical and electrical repairs on heavy-duty vehicles.
Experience with diagnostic tools and equipment.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Must be reliable, responsible, and able to work under pressure.
Valid driver’s license .
Willingness to work overtime or attend to breakdowns when required.
 
Duties will include, but not limited to:
Conducting vehicle inspections, servicing, and repairs.
Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults on trucks.
Performing preventative maintenance on Volvo trucks.
Completing job cards and maintenance reports.
Ensuring all work is done according to safety and company standards.
