A custom-made solutions for filtration, separation and industrial company is looking for a energetic and self motivated Process Sales Technician that understands the Mining Industry.
Qualification:
· Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering, Chemical or Mining Engineering Diploma or Degree. OEM training (Roxia, Metso, or Larox) highly advantageous. Commerce Degree or Diploma preferably in Business or Sales Management.
· Three (3) to Seven (7) years’ experience in Wet Filtration, Tower Press Systems, or Heavy Industrial Filtration equipment is essential.
· Exposure to servicing or running standard filter press equipment (advantageous).
· Proven ability to work in metallurgy, tailings, concentrate dewatering, or mineral processing environments.
· Experience in Wet Filtration is essential. Dust Filtration and Dust Extraction is desirable.
· Technical knowledge and experience in the Filtration Industry, Mining and Heavy Industry will be an added advantage.
· Computer Literate i.e., Outlook, Online Meetings, MS Word, Microsoft Office, Excel and PowerPoint, Internet, Pastel Manufacturing Accounting.
· Have the temperament to handle/deal with stress and pressure.
· Good Financial understanding of figures, costings, and calculations.
· Ability to draw and interpret Technical Drawings.
· Work may require some local travel; thus, a valid driver’s license is essential with own car.
· Must be prepared to travel into Africa.
Candidate Requirements
Duties:
To maintain and develop local and African export mining markets.
· Provide technical support to clients and sales teams on the selection, application, and performance of filtration consumables and capital equipment.
· Traveling to different regions of Africa
· Conduct site visits, process audits, and trials to assess system performance and recommend process improvements.
· Collaborate with Project Houses, Mining Houses, during design, commissioning, and implementation phases.
· Prepare technical documentation, including proposals, process flow diagrams, and performance reports.
· Manage key client relationships, ensuring technical excellence, customer satisfaction, and long-term partnership growth.
Skills:
· Strong interpersonal, listening, communication and writing skills.
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
· Ability to persuade and influence others, thus gaining the person’s confidence.
· Ability to develop and deliver presentations.
· Ability to create, compose, and edit computer documents.
