KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Receives, inspects and pack spares in correct bin locations
- Quantity and condition of spares is checked at the point of receiving
- Queries to suppliers raised and timeously closed off
- Picks spares as per picking list supplied for branches, sales, AP orders.
- Quantity and condition of spares picked is accurately checked.
- Packs spares as per Company specifications
- Dispatches spares as per instructions on picking lists
- Conducts stock counts as per Company procedures (Daily, Monthly)
- Ensures stocks are correct and available at all times, advises Spares Advisor/Manager accordingly
- Presents stocks for audits/stock counts as required
- Housekeeping
- Maintaining bin accuracy and consolidating stock as required
- Enters all spares received/dispatched onto spares system
- Record keeping, i.e. completion and filing of required documentation (POD’s, IBST’s, waybills)
- Attending to branch queries and supplier queries
- Assist Technicians/Contractor with part numbers etc
- System maintenance
- Adhoc tasks related to warehousing and administration as required by spares Associate/ Lead / Manager.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- A minimum of Grade 12 with proven experience in a spares or similar environment.
- Be able to work proficiently with figures.
- Good communication skills and computer literacy (esp SAP/WMS and Microsoft office)
- A valid forklift, Reach Truck & or Order Picker driver's license will be a definite advantage.
