Our client North of Pretoria is looking for a Plant and Asset Maintenance / Workshop Manager to join them. Salary depending on experience and qualifications.

Minimum requirements:

Relevant Technical Qualification required
Engineering degree, technical degree or diploma (advantageous)
Certificate in Management / Financial (Beneficial)
Minimum 7 years' experience in a similar management role
Proven experience in plant, fleet, workshop or asset management
Extensive experience managing maintenance and repairs of more than 80 assets
Experience with yellow equipment and trucks (Essential)
Proven experience managing teams of more than 20 employees
Stable and consistent employment history required
Strong technical understanding of fleet, heavy equipment and workshop operations
Good working knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics
Sound understanding of maintenance planning, servicing, breakdown management and asset lifecycle control
Ability to assess repair quality, maintenance needs, technical risks and replacement requirements
Divisional Leadership and Management, Asset Uptime and Operational Support, Workshop and Technical Oversight, Asset planning and replacement strategy, Cost control and Financial Management, Procurement and Supplier Coordination, Systems and Process Improvement, Compliance, Risk and Governance, People management, Strategic Support
